‘Heroes’ Cast Reuniting for HomeCon
We’re excited to announce that Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined some of his fellow Heroes castmates for a virtual HomeCon reunion! Sendhil, who played Mohinder Suresh on the hit NBC show, will attend the virtual panel with Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli), Jack Coleman (HRG / Noah Bennet), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian), and David Anders (Adam Monroe).
Heroes, a show that exploded in popularity in 2006, still has a thriving fanbase today. On the show, Sendhil played the character Mohinder, a genetics professor who becomes wrapped up in a world of superpowers and supervillains. The first season of Heroes had an impressive average of 14.3 million viewers and led to several cast appearances at conventions over the years — enthusiasm that we’re sure will carry over to HomeCon.
What is HomeCon, exactly? In response to recent worldwide stay-at-home orders, the creators of HomeCon wanted to bring a digital experience to fans that would connect them to their favorite celebrities. HomeCon isn’t solely about bringing fans joy, however; proceeds from these virtual events benefit #FirstRespondersFirst, an organization that “…provides essential supplies, equipment, accommodations, food, mental health support and more to protect frontline healthcare workers and their patients.” The event takes place May 16th-17th.
Fans will be able to watch the panels via HomeCon’s Twitch channel. Other participating shows include Vikings, Dark Matter, Orphan Black, Wynonna Earp, The Rookie, and more. The cast of Heroes will partake in a virtual reunion panel, but HomeCon is also offering one-on-one or group Zoom chats with fans who are looking to connect on a personal level with their favorite celebrities. Visit homeconofficial.com for more information on how to attend the event and where to grab tickets for Zoom calls with the cast of Heroes (and your other favorite shows).
